Top Site List Planet is getting an upgrade!!

We've been growing with new lists being started everyday. And to help us grow we are moving to a bigger and faster machine in just a few days. This new powerful server will help keep your top site list running smooth and fast no matter how big it grows.

We've added a script that will be regularly updating the total vote and hit count statistics for all the top site lists. This means instead of these stats updating on an irregular and infrequent basis, they will now be recalculated every 24 hours. Enjoy!

Note that vote and hit stats for individual members of a list will be updated instantly as always. This new update will affect the summary stats, for example... "There have been 18941 votes and 69384 hits". The update will occur every day around midnight CST.

Now you can customize your Portal-based list even more with our new and improved custom modules.

We've increased the number of custom modules from 2 to 4. In addition to the existing Welcome module and the upper-left Custom module, there is also now an upper-right and a lower-left Custom module. Also the previous 1000 character limits have been expanded to 8000 for the Welcome module and 5000 for the other Custom modules. That's over 10 times the custom HTML space for tweaking-up your Portal!

The Shout Box portal module is now available.

List admins using the portal layout option can now take advantage of our new Shout Box to enhance their list community with a quick and easy way for list members to communicate right on the list homepage.

Ever wanted to send an email to your inactive members, to remind them to complete their registration? Or wanted to send an email to your members with no votes, to remind them to add the voting code?

Instead of having to mail all your members at once, you can now mail the following groups of your members:

Inactive
Activated
Activated by never Logged-in
Activated by no Votes ever
No Votes ever (Activated or not)
Moderators
Admins

Just visit your admin panel and click General Admin -> Mass Email to use. The new interface also provides an option so that you can just see who the email would have gone to for a specified group, without actually sending the email.
