Hi Mark
Firstly well done on your new list.
With the forum option, when selecting no forum can the link to the forum on the join list, login, my account ect. also be deactivated?
How often does the list update? if not straight away could a force update feature be included.
Our list is http://www.cockerspaniels.top-site-list.com is it acceptable the way we have set up our banner background ect.

Thanks John.

I've updated the code to hide the forum link on those pages, when the forum option is disabled. Good find!

The list is updated continously. In other words, each load is a live look at the latest stats, there is no longer a need for a force update. This is a problematic area on other services, so we just bypassed the whole problem using live lists.

Only one issue with you list that I see, and that is a small syntax error in the IMG specification:

Quote:

<img border="0" http://cockerspaniels.top-site-list.com/images/voteimage/cockerspaniels-3.gif></td src="http://cockerspaniels.top-site-list.com/images/voteimage/cockerspaniels-2.jpg" width="393" height="120">

The closing TD tag is mixed into the IMG tag, making it not display at the moment.

Also, we recommend linking to your list without the extra "www". This keeps the URL shorter, and consistent with our overall system to maximize your search engine optimization. This will pay off over time, with more members being able to find your list. On a similar note, you might want to use a page title like "English Cocker Spaniels Top Site List", this will also go a long way towards helping future members find your site and complement some of the search engine optimization we've integrated into all lists.
