|
|
The following is a guide on how to create different custom ranks that are automatically applied to members as they contribute more posts. The custom ranks will appear below the members name in each of their posts.
First decide on a set of ranks and the posts needed for each rank.
For example:
50 posts or more for a rank of "Super Member"
5 posts or more for a rank of "Member"
1 post or more for a rank of "New Member"
Go to your admin panel and select User Admin -> Ranks.
Click the Add new rank button. Add the Rank Title, leave Special Rank set to "No", enter the minimum posts. For our example you would do this three times entering:
Rank Title=New Member -and- Minimum Posts=1
Rank Title=Member -and- Minimum Posts=5
Rank Title=Super Member -and- Minimum Posts=50
Now members will automatically be assigned the appropriate Rank Title according to their post count.
To assign custom images to go with your ranks see our How to Upload and Install Images guide. |
