hi,

If anyone knows a place similar to top site planet but is for auctions and banner exchanges please contact me. My reptile site is looking for add ons like that and I havent found anything . any help would be appercitated .

If we offered a way to extend your top site list and provide banner exchange features would you be interested in that?

The membership requirements for topsite vs. banner exchange are very similar: register, upload image, add code to your site. Members could be ranked by how much traffic they send to the exchange.

Well, it is an interesting idea, and I've done a similar project before. But it is a good bit beyond our basic mission to provide the best top site list service available, so it certainly wouldn't be soon. It's probably a moot point, but it would probably be free, if it was offered.

I used a banner exchange on the old system at Jarvis/ Westlin. Of course, no longer works *grumble* I would love to be able to reoffer this service as well.

I did notice that they got their top sites back up, though. I am NOT playing around with their games, though. As soon as it will let me, I plan on deleting my old account there.

I dont think jarvis is offering there banner exchange anymore . I signed up just to see what it was like and it looks like they almost exacty copyed itopsites code . Im stayin here the sites look alot better and your costumer support is outstanding. this is the best topsite service (out of 5 ) that I have found . also with this banner exchange idea I think it would be cool . I have been in the reptile comunity area for 2 years and have never found a banner exchange host . thanks mark and keep up the good work .

I'm not sure that we'll delve into the banner exchange arena at this time.

yeah I did I tryed puttin the code on and nothing worked I also tryed herpcams banner exchange but the admin never accepted me after 3 months ! ill post the code to reptilebanners and see if anyone can make heads or tails out of it

I think the reason its not working is because its in java but I can't be sure Confused

sounds good and good luck (tryed it on about 4 of my herp site even some that do support java and it wont work thats why I thought a banner exchange might be cool because it would be the only one that all herpers could use )
