Mark,

I'm not going to be available to reset my votes on the first of next month. Is there a way to give one of the users admin status so that they can reset the votes for me? I see where I can give moderator status for the forums, but I don't have the forum activated and I'm not sure if it would work with the top list section.

Hi Karen,

Yes, you can do this, even if you aren't using the forum option, but it will require admin access.

Here's how:

Go to your admin panel: User Admin -> Permissions

Enter your trusted member's username and submit. At the top of the page will be a User Level selector. Change it to Administrator, and submit.

Your new admininstrator will be able to see the admin panel link at the bottom of forum pages, like you. And you can instruct them as to how to reset the votes at the appointed time.

We will eventually try to get the scheduling feature implemented so this isn't an issue in the future.
