[my] Topsite seems to have .....died ?

......up until lets say last january my site was doin great . at least 2 forum posts a day lots of clicks ect. ect. but resently nothing seems to be happening . I tried to see if the members could help in june but it didn't really work . other sites like www.geckoforums.net continue to skyrocket with activity . my currents site stats as of today were :

Number of posts: 344 Posts per day: 0.76
Number of topics: 91 Topics per day: 0.20
Number of users: 82 Users per day: 0.18

compaired to the 250+ votes a day gecko forums gets .

so my question is :

how do I get my topsite out of where it is now and make it get at least 1 new user a day and 5 posts . so how do I increase site activty ?

One thing I noticed about your forum is that some of the subforums don't even have 1 post in them yet.

People usually want established forums, or at least forums with interesting content.

If you want to grow your forum, I suggest that you write up some interesting articles and post them in the appropriate subforums.

Some might say when you have made a minimum of 10 excellent quality articles in each subforum, then you just might be ready to kick-off a new forum and start promoting it.

hmmmm......what kind of posts do you think I should put in the subforums ? and should I deleate any subforums ? all i can really think of putting in the forums is care sheets and stuff since there are usually Q&A type of forums . I was thinking of using myspace to network peple onto the site as I have seen other reptile sites like www.myspace.com/clubkingsnake and www.myspace.com/lllreptilegroup do it and ther a couple of gecko groups there one has 600 members and another has 100 . but when I went to make the url www.myspace.com/geckofile it was already taken and I can't seem to think of anything else for a gecko file myspace url.....has anyone tried this before ? another thing I thought of is maybe I have to much content on the home page but i dont really know what to get rid of (besides the e-mail service) and I think maybe if i made the welcome paragraph sound better it would help . idk.....any opnions are appricated
