|
|
Want to give your moderators more power, but in a controlled fashion?
The Moderator Control Panel feature allows you to do this.
Go to your admin panel and click Moderator CP -> Configuration. Then enable the powers that you would like your moderators to have:
- User Management (Adjust profiles, activate/deactivate accounts)
- Mass Email
- Forum Smilies
- Forum Word Censors
- Ban Control (By name, IP and email, but can't ban Mods or Admins!)
- Disallow Names (Censor usernames that may be registered)
- Forum Ranks
Hit Submit after you adjust checkboxes.
This will cause a Moderator Control Panel link to appear at the bottom of each page for mods. When they click this link, their control panel will have the allowed options made available to them.
Note that moderators can not ban an Admin, or edit an Admin or Mod profile, or delete user accounts. |
