That is the reason I came here, to find out how to stop this. That wow gold site puts his site back on every day using different user names, websites and email address. I am getting sick of it. They did 2 today. I would appriciate any help with this also !!I delete them, I ban user names and emial addresses and they just come up with more names and email addresses !!
Thanks,
Dee Sad

I ended up having to email him and sent a copy to myself....then I copied his address and pasted into my members and then deleted him and then blocked him again, so far so good. Hope this helps

Hey, yes I recommend an email ban on *@qq.com

Another option is setting your General Config -> User Authorization to a higher level. If you've got it at None, change it to User. If you've got it at User you could try it at Admin for a while. This will allow/require you to manually approve all new members. Some might like this as it provides 100% control, for others it may only be good as a temporary option.

Also, I know this guy has been a pain, so I've tweaked the code an added a global ban on his URL. I hope this will help.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info, he just tried again so I have tweaked my settings hoping this will keep him out. Thanks for the extra tweaking on your part.

I noticied a similar site registering at an unrelated list of mine, so I've added a 2nd global ban.

If you get similar pesky signups please post the full URL of your list and the offending member here, I will consider a global ban for them...
