Hi!
I can see from your list that you are allowing sites with 0 votes to be displayed, but restricted so that their URL isn't displayed, so you probably already know about this option:
Display Zero Votes - Limit display of members with no votes.
You may display all members with votes, or all members regardless of votes. There is also an option to show sites with zero votes, but in a restricted format. This allows new sign-ups to see their listing before the first vote is placed, but doesn't provide a link to their website in order to encourage adding of the voting code.
You might be interested in using the Reset Votes option. This will reset all sites to 0 votes. The previous vote totals will be retained in a new column, but ranking will be only on new votes. This option is under List Admin -> Reset Votes:
* After resetting, list members will rank by "Votes" which will be the number of votes since the last Reset.
* And your list will contain a "Votes Ever" column which displays the all-time voting total for each member.
The neat thing about the vote reset option is that you can undo it, if you decide you don't like it to go back to just the all-time votes with all vote counts intact.
You also have the options of Deleting or Deactiving members that you think won't be participating. This can be done with User Admin -> Management. Deactivated members won't appear in your list, but you could revive them later if warranted, for example, if they emailed you to say they were ready to participate.
Before you prune members, you can also use our General Admin -> Mass Email to send a warning message to members who have no votes. There are several options that you can select regarding who gets your email message, so you can target the set of members that you want to in different cases.
Hope that helps!
Thanks. |
