Moderators have control in the forums, right? But what kind of control, if any, do they have over the top site list functions? It's kind of not covered in the general list's FAQ, I don't think.

I'd like to set up some helpers in my top site list, but I don't wanna give them too much control. I'd like them to be able to activate new members coming in, but not necessarily be able to just delete accounts, or change layouts and functions.

Yes, at this second moderators don't have any control over the list, but that would make sense as an optional power.

I'm going to add it to my list, great suggestion.

Any updates on the possibility of moderators on the list functions? Smile

Yes!

Go to your admin panel and click Moderator CP -> Configuration. Then enable the powers that you would like your moderators to have, for example Management (as in User Admin -> Management).

This will cause a Moderator Control Panel link to appear at the bottom of each page for mods. When they click this link, their control panel will have the allowed options made available to them. When they click User Admin -> Management, they will be able to select names from the list and enable or disable their account, etc.

Please let me know how it works!
