Are site owners allowed to vote for their own site once a day? If it's set up so that they can't vote for themselves, is there any way we could be given the option of letting them vote for themselves?

In order to activate a site's link on the list I'm finding they can't vote for themselves, so either I have to vote for them or tell them to get a friend to go to their site and vote for them.

(I know I can have the links for their sites show up automatically if I set the configuration to do that, but I really love your option of it not showing up when they haven't put the html for it on their site and no one has voted for them.)

Thanks Mark!

Site owners all welcome to vote for their site once a day. The system will allow that, but it won't allow more than once per 24 hours.

Perhaps they weren't able to vote because they had already cast their vote on that list during the last 24 hours for another member...?

No, because some of them didn't even know about the list until I posted the link in the forum. Hmmm... okay, not sure where to go from here. LOL

And to be clear, they are attempting to vote? Did they add the voting code to their site, and then voted from there?

Well, if their IP at the time of voting is the same as another person who had voted, then it would have the same effect.

Yeah, I went to their sites myself to be sure the voting html was up on it and they did attempt to vote for themselves to get their site links to show up and they didn't show up.

If you can post the location of their voting code I can take a look. Thanks.

I only know of two sites so far, but I didn't ask the general list of site owners. I just asked a couple friends if any of them were having problems. The others had no problem voting for themselves.

The first site is Debbie's. Her URL is: http://honeypot.pfbabyz.com/ and the voting fragment is on http://honeypot.pfbabyz.com/new_page_8.htm.

The second is my own site. The URL is: http://mdnyhtkyss.com/mginc/ and the voting fragment is on http://mdnyhtkyss.com/mginc/Main.html.

Oddly enough she's also the same person who can't view graphics on the list, like me. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what we have in common on our computers that's causing the problems.

I'm sending out a list asking all the girls who is having problems and who isn't. It'll take a bit for them to get back to me.

Maybe she has Norton blocking her images, too?

On the voting codes...

I checked Debbie's voting code, her's seemed to work fine for me, I was able to vote for her site and the vote count incremented.

However, there is a problem with the voting code on your site.

The voting code is for member #3, however there doesn't seem to be a member #3, so that isn't valid. I can't figure out which member at the list corresponds to the "mdnyhtkyss.com/mginc/" site. I know that you are member Jesslan, however your member account has no website information set.

I recommend you either add the "mdnyhtkyss.com/mginc/" site details to your Jesslan account and then change all the voting URLs on that site to use...

http://babyz.top-site-list.com/vote2.html

instead of the current...

http://babyz.top-site-list.com/vote3.html

OR, you can create a whole new account, add your site details and then grab the new voting code.

Debbie will be happy to hear that. Smile I think you couldn't find the vote3 site because I got so frustrated I removed MG Inc and figured out how to add the banner for it at the top of the list.

I re-added it to the list under my master name after I got your note and now that I figured out the problem with the graphics not showing maybe that will fix Debbie's and my problems with no voting too. Very Happy *crosses fingers*
